Trip #7 - Rome and various other locales - May-July 2002

I wanted to go to Egypt for the Summer on a study-abroad program, but No, it was "postponed" due to unrest in the Middle East. So, six weeks before I was supposed to go to Egypt I had to find another program. I was torn between Greece and Rome, and eventually chose Rome. I spent the week before the program driving around Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. Every weekend I took a trip to another city: Naples, Venice, Florence/Siena/Pisa, Barcelona. The week following the program, I took trains through Switzerland, Germany, and Luxemborg. Oh yeah, and I took a class on . . . uh . . . oh yeah, the European Union.I am in the process of putting together a quasi-journal and posting my pictures.
