In March 1996 I ran the Summit Club trip to St. Thomas. The trip was an incentive trip for the top performers in the Data Center at GE Capital. It was a five day trip and included 50 people, including spouses. I planned out activities, transportation, and meals for each day, as well as providing gifts each night.

I had to do a scouting trip a month prior to the event, to check out restaurants, meet with local tour operators, and find venues. All of this sounds like a lot of fun but was very stressful, and consumed about 20 hours a week for three months. The trip went very well and everyone had a good time.
