Reticulated Giraffe

[Reticulated Giraffe in Samburu] The Reticulated Giraffe are one of the three types of Giraffe we saw - the others being Maasai and Rothschild. The Reticulated have three horns, two on top and a third on their forehead. They have more 'regular' spots than the Maasai.

We saw the Reticulated Giraffe at both Samburu Game reserve and Sweetwaters. We saw, by far, the most Reticulated Giraffe - including quite a number of little babies, barely six feet tall!!

There are a number of pictures of baby giraffe and a few at the end of a giraffe drinking.
