I went to Kenya July 21 to August 1, 2000 with the Wildlife Conservation Society. Kenya is a much more varied country than I had expected. With excellent roads in some places and truly atrocious ones in other parts. Although we were on the equator we tended to be up at 5600' or more so it was surprisingly cool. The landscape varied quite a bit depending on the elevation and part of the country. Our in-country tour group Park East Tours was great.
