Dalatriene |

As soon as the messengers told him that Mercury was conscious, he was running for his tent, pulling her Trump as he went. He barked at his commanders to see to the war while he saw to something that, to him, was more important. He tore into his tent, shouting to his guards that he was not to be disturbed short of the arrival of Queen Titania or the surrender of Asterion, then waited impatiently for the card to grow cold. "Mercury! It's Dalatriene, are you alright?!" |

Mercury |

It took a while for the card to grow cold, and when it did the image of Mercury was less distinct than normal. The Princess's face was pale and looked a bit drawn. The Admiral did not respond right away, and when she did, her words were separated by distinct pauses. "Tree? Nice of you to check up on me. No, no I don't think I am alright . . . but I think I will be. Donovan tells me you are seigeing Y'Nobe? Congratulations." |

Dala shook his head. "The siege is unimportant. Your health is! Are you getting the best care? I can send healers or enchanters or whatever you need to recover." His eyes were filled with worry and his face was stricken. "Whatever you need, you just let me know!" |
||
Mercury |
||
With a dismissive wave, the Princess replied, "I don't think anyone can help me now, it is up to me to get better from here on. It might just take a little while." |

Dala nodded but his face fell. "Mercury...you don't have to do everything by yourself. We're all here for you. That's what family is for. I'm sure if we all put our heads together, we can find some way to heal you sooner." |

Mercury |

With an effort the diminutive woman let out a chuckle. "I am not impatient, Dala. All in good time." |
